Hello, I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Nikki, an experienced Bowen practitioner, holistic therapist, aromatherapist, and mother. I founded Star Bluestone Aromatherapy as a loving tribute to my daughter, Jessica, and this collection was created to honour her beautiful spirit.
Jessica fought Leukaemia three times in seven years. She was 27 years old when, tragically, she lost that fight in November 2024.
Throughout those seven years, Jess showed extraordinary resilience, courage, and positivity. She never felt sorry for herself, and she always thought of others. Whenever another young person was in hospital at the same time as her, she’d make friends with them, setting her own struggles aside to shine positively on their lives. Her strength and determination were remarkable, even in the darkest of times.
Jessica had a wonderfully creative mind. Star Bluestone was a character she created in a story of her own, accompanied by her own artwork, when she was younger. She went on to study at Falmouth University, and graduated with a degree in Fine Art.
Jessica loved all things holistic, and aromatherapy gave her real support throughout her treatment, including during remission, alongside the complementary therapies I was able to give her.
Teenage Cancer Trust supported Jess from the very beginning. Their specialist nurses built a genuinely supportive relationship with her, and helped her lead a young person’s life without letting cancer define her. She attended social events organised by the charity, and we were able to stay with her overnight in hospital thanks to their support, just a few examples among many of what this charity does for young people facing cancer.
I’m deeply grateful for everything Jessica received from Teenage Cancer Trust, which is why 10% of every purchase of Star Bluestone Aromatherapy products is donated to Teenage Cancer Trust via Work for Good. They help young people navigate a cancer diagnosis and treatment, giving them the support they need most during an extremely difficult time in their lives.
Jessica achieved so much in her short life, and as her mother, I am immensely proud of the young woman she became. I miss her beyond measure, we all do.
This aromatherapy range is a legacy to Jessica: a reflection of the creativity, warmth, and quiet strength that defined her.
